Notre Dame Mathematical Lectures

The Notre Dame Mathematical Lectures series is now freely available online. It was a fairly small series of lecture notes on various topics. The most famous was probably Emil Artin’s lectures on Galois Theory.

It looks to me like you have to be a subscriber to access the articles.

I accessed the articles without subscribing to anything, but it’s a little disappointing that they apparently just photocopied the rather chunky typescript instead of scanning it into a text-reader and producing something a little more readable.

On the bright side, the typeface of Artin’s 1971 update is significantly clearer than the older papers.
