		<description>Ouch, that hurts coming from you, Professor Baez. Somehow I'm feeling much worse about my chances of working with you in grad school :(.

It's more of a time thing... if this were pertinent to my research or course of study, certainly I'd make my way through them regardless of quality. But if I'm looking for a way to pass a weekend afternoon or procrastinate on my homework, I'd rather read something that doesn't require  painful translation and squinting throughout.</description>

		<description>There are much more important things in mathematics than the quality of the typesetting.  I wonder if Domenic Denicola refuses to read old Springer Lectures Notes because they were typed.  One would miss a lot of important math that way!</description>
